April 16, 2ND ANNUAL SUPER HERO CLEANUP WITH “BE THE CHANGE”. Read Park, 200 Park Lane Drive, Freeport. 10 am. Join community members in the “fight against grime” as they team up with local businesses and organizations for this cleanup. Form your own cleanup team to pick up litter in any area of your choice or join them at the kickoff and choose one of their selected areas. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite super hero gear (costumes, capes, t-shirts, etc.) although dressing in hero gear is not required. All ages are welcome. Rainout Date is April 30.
