At the gathering, Dad comes back as a ghost with a mission: to tell his wife he loved her, something he neglected to tell her while he was alive. However, not only can’t she see or hear him, she has also invited a date for dinner. Four women, on their way to an evening at the theatre, stop for dinner at the establishment owned by the ex-husband of one of them. Between the salad and entre, he ends up dead. And each one of them has a reason to wish him dead. This show has multiple endings, so each show night will have a different ending. While rooting through Opals’ Antique Junque Shop, two summer-stock leads come across a painting that looks a lot like an old master that disappeared from the local art museum. In order to collect the insurance themselves, the divas, Desmond and Queenie, try to acquire the painting from Opal, who has other plans for the painting. The plot thickens hilariously when the two stars resort to everything from outrageous flattery to knockout drops trying to get their hands on the picture. $20. (815-819-1310)
